    Boneless turkey breast-lobe source please?

    Hello folks,

I'm looking to smoke a couple 1/2 turkey breast lobes. I have watched many YouTube videos of folks like Jirby of Goldees BBQ smoking turkey breasts. My challenge is the only boneless turkey breasts I can find are in net wraps to hold them together. When the net wrap is removed they fall apart into pieces. These are labeled "turkey breast roast". I am looking for boneless, one piece breast halves. They can have the skin on or off. I'll remove it if it's skin on. I want to be able to slice them and have intact one piece slices, like the ones in the deli meat department.

Does anyone have a sources for quality one piece boneless turkey breast lobes?

    Thanks in advance!

Not sure if this would be practical for you, but you could break down a whole turkey. Roast the legs separately later and use the rest of the carcass for soup/stock.

Our Super Value Grocery sometimes sells "Turkey Parts" that are just broken down whole turkeys that I think they cut down at the store themselves.

      Also these on occasion. https://www.butterball.com/products/...s-refrigerated

Just get a bone-in turkey breast and break it down yourself, just like filleting a fish. What you want to buy is a turkey without legs and wings, and avoid anything with the word "roast" in it.

Ralph's or Walmart should have them.

I often find them, boneless and skinless, at my Sprouts.

              Thanks!
I have one of those close to me.
I wonder if Costco Business Outlet has them?

Don't know. Although Costco is my best friend, the nearest business center is in Orlando, and that kind of time on I-4 is life altering (not in a good way.)

If there is a Sprouts store near you, they always have them. They also usually have legs, wings and thighs as well. I just roasted legs from there 2 weeks ago.

Three weeks latter, I'm still on the hunt for whole boneless turkey breast lobes in SoCal, northern San Diego county. My local Sprouts in Carlsbad only had Turkey breast cutlets. Costco Business in San Marcos only has cooked turkey. I will check the regular Costco, which is closer to me. I will ask Sprouts and Frasier Farms if they arable to order them. I have a very full schedule during the school year. I want to enjoy my weekend time tending the smoker, not deboning a bird. I know, I'm lazy... My plan B WAS to get a whole bird, smoke the breast and the legs. I can not find them either. I am guessing stores are holding off until November to start stocking them.
                respectfully,

The whole foods in my area (southern ca, south bay) carries them (I think the brand is Mary's organic). To aide in not having to drive wild fork also has boneless turkey breast and they will deliver. Good luck.

                Thanks for your query!
I showed the Mrs. Turkey lobe is on this week's shopping list.

                  Hello Kascon,

Thanks for your reply. My local Whole Foods do not carry turkey breast. I am giving up after many weeks of searching. I am going to order a couple whole bone in, skin on turkey breasts from Wild Fork Foods. I'll debone and skin them myself.

                  Thanks everyone.
I'll report back with the results.
