This is making the rounds on Reddit. Someone decided to brine their turkey in a metal pan using a brine of salt and orange peels.

Hexavalent chromium will definitely speed up the carcinogenesis process.

Bronze it and display it next to your bronzed baby shoes. (Is that still a thing?)

It was at least up to the mid 1980s. My parents and aunts/uncles all bronzed my, my sisters, and all my cousins shoes. I haven't run across it in decades though.

Just wait. During cleanup, he’ll probably use an ammonia based and chlorinated cleaner together. Extra points for who can tell why that’s not a good thing.

Chloramine gas isn't the best for one's health.

Ammonium chloride gas, same as used in the holocost.

Happened to me (not nearly that bad) when dry brining a brisket in a steel steam pan. Saw 2-3 faint pinholes in the foil where it was otherwise smooth and quickly figured out what had happened. I was able to trim off the affected bit, unlike this guy

I get that it's important to have good electrolytes, but this is ridiculous.
