I've searched and haven't found a range for the approximate time it should take to smoke a whole turkey without stuffing. My Turkey is 15.36 pounds. I seem to remember around 3 hours last year. I should have made notes. Mak 2 Star. Thanks.

Did a 14lber spatchcocked this morning - 2h2m to 155F, probably 300-325F.
Second, 14.5lb, spatchcocked, took about 2h15m-2h20m. I didn't push the temp on that one as much. Running 280-310 for the most part.

Meathead article also suggests smoking for 30 minutes on high smoke, then turning it up to 325°. That’s my plan, just put mine on the pellet smoker!

smokenoob Thanks. I did the 30 min. smoke while confirming the estimated cook time. Turkey is on, candied Yams and stuffing/dressing ready for the oven. Just need to make the garlic mashed potatoes and my work is done. My wife will handle the rest. Thanks again.
