Turkey for a Quarter a pound!

Even fresh breasts! Small breast for $1.12 with $25 purchase. I deboned and cooking for sandwiches. Whole turkey in freezer for later $3.12 total. Has to be a loss leader...

After hoovarmin ‘s turkey post I hope they weren’t labeled as being from Empire.🙂

I was referring to his the Empire was covered in feathers comment. You can save a lot of labor costs by not plucking the bird before selling.

Donw plucking the broken off quills and feathers out of that bird with a pair of tweezers took hours and ruined my lower back

Our local store had them for .39 per lb with a $20 purchase. Well worth it. We now have several turkeys in the freezer

Cheapest turkeys at WM this evening were Butterball at $1.25/lb. There was a "No Antibiotics Ever" brand that was a good bit higher - about $2/lb.

Ham was cheapest at $2.25/lb, I bought one of those, they went up to $2.75/lb.

I don't know what the turkeys were BEFORE Thanksgiving, The Wife bought ours this year.
