    Pulled Chicken

I'm looking for the best way to reheat pulled chicken that has been frozen so its not dry and hold its flavor from grilling.

I'm thinking reheat it slowly in the oven and check the temp often. Maybe a little broth to help retain moisture

Micro wave, on low, heat to good and warm.

a splash of chicken stock and oven at 350 for about 30-60 minutes depending on how thick it sits in the container.

I’ve been smoking chicken to freeze for stews or sandwiches later on…
I smoke broth from the excess chicken parts while smoking the breasts and leg quarters…
I combine the smoked.broth with the pulled chicken prior to freezing…
          It’s been a game changer for us…
Better flavor and very moist when thawed…

As CHNeal says below… Have a pan of your pork butt fat trimmings in the smoker also… then combine the juices from when you cover your butt and incorporate in the pulled, chopped or sliced pork… same with turkey and beef… I don’t know what dry meat is like… DogFaced PonySoldier

I do pulled chicken as I do butts and brisket for the freezer. I catch and reclaim the drippings and mix them in with the finished pulled/chopped meat then bag and freeze. Then when needed its a quick thaw under cold water and into whatever recipe it is planned for which normally around here means its a quick weeknight meal or fast breakfast so its heated in the microwave.
