    Wondra magic on wings!

    I wish I had pictures. I just grilled some wings with the vortex. Instead of using cornstarch I dusted with seasoned Wondra. Very crispy and uniquely held the sauce better than even breaded wings. I wish I had pictures, but I’m Wondraing if Wondra (see what I did there) can impact the barque on other meats. Anyone else try Wondra when grilling/smoking?

    Had to go look it up. Never heard of it.

    Sounds interesting - Love me some wings, but I can't ever seem to get them right.

      Nah, it's good for thickening gumbo since it is finer and doesn't clump up as bad as the regular stuff.

        Hmmm. I have some in the pantry. Never thought of it for wings. Another must try.

          Wondra definitely is great as a thickener, but I have never tried with wings.

            Agreed. Wondra has a place in the kitchen pantry. I also use it in place flour for thickening and coating a protein before browning.

              Hmmm. I’ve used Wondra for pan seared chicken breasts. We works great. Gotta try this.

                I like salt pepper garlic and baking powder. Bet it would be good of fish menieure

                  I did a little research and I find Jacques Pépin uses Wondra to make his chicken bites.

                    Oh wow. I've been trying to find a good recipe for boneless buffalo wings and this might just be it. My previous attempts have been lackluster.
