    Homemade Baguettes

    Tried some Baguettes this morning. I used 2 different shaping methods with the same dough. One looks a little better than the other but same in taste and texture. I followed Peter Reinhart's method in The Bread Baker's Apprentice. Over all good but to me the book is confusing and is in the Imperial system. I just ordered Ken Forkish's book. Flour Water Salt Yeast... I hear it is a far better book.

    Anyway these Baguettes turned out very tasty with a very nice Texture. Over all I would say thumbs up.

        Really nice! Those make me think of all the good garden vegetables for all types of summer sandwiches. Good job troymeister !
