HWMO brought home another bag of Dried Cherries and another of White Chocolate Chips. Bread to be made with that! Sorry, guys, my camera is not a paper weight but my new one is on it's way! supposed to arrive by Friday. Making bread, today or tomorrow (starting to get a little late)
We love to use dried fruits in our cooking, both sweet and savory. I love to combine dried cherries and smoked, candied hazelnuts in salads, and also in the occasional process butter. This, of course, is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg. As sweet cherries won't grow here in Alaska, I often have to find alternatives when volume cooking/prepping. This actually opens up many possibilities for both unique and tasty entrees and so forth.
