wasn't sure where to post this but dressing is made of bread so... The muffing recipe is one great way to have dressing on thanksgiving day.
my wife and I made these delicious muffings for the family thanksgiving get together. Being served dressing in muffin form brought out some hilarious facial expressions from family members. But one bite and they all wanted more. Thanks for a great recipe Meathead. Next time I think I will add a half cup of home made smoked andouille sausage fried up and tossed in with the veggies. The instant read thermometer from thermoworks was crucial so as to pull these out of the oven. Even then, the temp snuck up on us and we pulled at 168F. But the muffings were great with or without the gravy drizzled on top of them.
