Sooooo nice warm from the oven with a good spread of butter!
​​​​​​Used standard cornbread recipie, dialled down the sugar, dialled up the salt, milk instead of buttermilk, added finely diced onion, red and green chillies to the melted butter.
Damn it was tasty, but needs more chillies next time!
I love to make cornbread with onion, red jalapenos, and cracklins. Not that sweet stuff. Wife prefers the sweet almost cake like. I like the savory spicy kind. Guess she better learn to cook cornbread, lol. (she doesnt read this...)
