    Bread Making Tip

Here's a quick and easy tip for you bread makers out there: If your dough seems to be rising far too slowly, you might ask yourself if you forgot to add the yeast...

This actually happened to a, a, er, um,... a friend of mine! Yeah, that's the ticket. A friend!

Your friend left out the most important ingredient.🙀

I set ALL of my ingredients out on the counter top before any mixing activity begins.😎

Your dough will do just fine. An autolyse without yeast is actually very common. Your friend did the right thing if he kept his hydration the same.👍

Breadhead Hydration was by eye/feel after knowing what the dough was like minus yeast. It's a brioche style and I suspect somewhat forgiving--eggs, butter, sugar, plus 3/4 pound of cubed cheese. It rose well and is now rising again.

No yeast - no problem. You are ready for the Jewish holidays. LOL

It's good to "rise up" and move on to the next batch!

That looks good. Maybe your friend can show you how to make it. :-)
