    Has anybody tried these?

    Very simple and relatively quick:

I'm gonna give these a try soon.

Dough, butter, cinnamon, sugar and cream cheese frosting. How can you go wrong?

Good choice to go with the cream cheese. I make a cream cheese glaze for my king cakes because home made confection sugar glaze doesn't taste all that good to me.

        I agree about the frosting.

I make those all the time (sans the icing and added butter) using the pie dough trimmings when I make pies. My mother and grandmother did the same.

I'm curious about this transformation of Pillsbury Cinnamon Grands-to-Cinnabon Tik Tok hack that has been "viral" for a few years now. People rave about them.

The usual dried and tasteless dough part of the Pillsbury Cinnamon Grands swells up and becomes tender due, so they say, to the heavy cream added.

In the gilding-the-lily category, this other source adds more melted butter-cinnamon-sugar; the mixture is poured over the top of the PCGs before baking. This sounds like a useful addition. Go big or go home, caloriewise.

Gooey, sweet, and oh-so-simple, these viral TikTok Cinnamon Rolls are the canned cinnamon roll hack that you didn't know you needed. So easy to make using canned Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls, we're taking these refrigerated

Either way, you get large Cinnabon-like rolls in the end that are actually delicious.

I want to give it a try.

Holy heck. But I can’t eat that stuff. If I set my sweet tooth off it takes weeks to tame it again.

Sounds like me! If there is ANYTHING sweet in the house, I'm sneaking it anytime I think no-one is looking.

I have to drink strong coffee when eating a dessert or breakfast pastry, because I typically don't like sweets and don't often eat dessert. That said, a slice of pie with morning coffee is a forbidden treat that I occasionally indulge in if the pie is really great.

Also, for some reason, drinking wine with dinner sometimes sets off a desire for a small taste of something sweet after dinner. Don't know why that is. That only started happening recently.

fzxdoc I absolutely love pie and black coffee in the morning. Can't do dessert after a meal, it just doesn't suit me. Now wine I can drink with or without a meal and partake every night regardless lol.

A pie-for-breakfast soul mate! Not many of us around, Hulagn1971 .

        Maybe we've started a trend.

I haven't tried that but I love Chef Gruel. I subscribe to his Substack and he posts some bangers.
