Once opened, the SAF instant yeast bags are pretty notorious for spillage. I've been putting the bag inside a zip lock in the fridge, but I'm thinking there must be a better way? How do you do it?

1 jar in the fridge… and 1 jar in the freezer in case there’s another pandemic. It will be worth as much as gold and toilet paper.

Sourdough. No need to buy yeast.

rickgregory true, but not everything I make is sourdough bread or has a sourdough starter.

Sure, but if there's a major pandemic, yeast isn't an issue. You can make a starter in a few days. The issue won't be how to get something to rise your dough, it will be getting hold of flour
