    Multiple Sauce Syndrome

I think we're all familiar with 'MCS' - Multiple Cooker Syndrome. But what about 'MSS' - Multiple Sauce Syndrome?
I've been disappointed with making my own KC-style sauces, so I usually buy tried-and-true commercial sauces. I just finished the second of three bottles of Franklin's BBQ sauces. I picked up a bottle of Stubb's Original at the local store and interested in trying it. I used the first of three bottles of Black Swan sauces on some spare ribs last night (great!). And there's a bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's 'Sweet Red Chili' sauce to try. Not to mention some bottles of Hosin sauce I want to use on pork.
Does anyone else have this 'issue'? I love to grill and smoke food, with or without sauces, but I have to keep from opening too many bottles of sauces at the same time, otherwise I won't have room in the refrigerator for beer!

Oh geez. Right now I have 15 bottles of sauce bought from a variety of sources. It never ends. Oh and Stubb’s original is probably my all time favorite.

Right there with you, numerous bottles of BBQ sauce in the fridge and pantry.
Sweet Baby Rays has been our go to but just found Stubb's at a local grocery so its gaining in popularity.
Then there's cooking BBQ sauces, baking BBQ sauces, frying BBQ sauces....
      It is a sickness....

I don’t often use sauce. I really want to buy Max Good ‘s sauces. However, my fridge is packed with sauces that should be thrown out. Also, I use them only as bases for things I concoct. Follow that logic -I rarely use them. Open them and then store them in the fridge once opened.

I never write the recipes down so hardly any of my concoctions are replicated. Your post has me convinced I need to purge and buy Max’s stuff. No sense reinventing a wheel especially when you don’t write the dimensions of the wheel down.

Waste not want not. The solution is obvious: more ribs on a sustained basis until your current stock is depleted. Then, I would love for you to try my Black Swan Gourmet BBQ Sauces!

I like Stubb's original lately and have added a small quantity of the other BBQ sauces that sit in my fridge to help use them up. If they are too sweet or I just don't like them...out they go.

Our newest go to is Blues Hog Smoky Mountain. We like it so much that I bought a gallon of it. That said, Dreamland BBQ sauce is still my personal fav for pulled pork.

Will do, Mr. Bones. I've got jars of Original, Tennessee, and Smokey Mountain in my freezer as we speak. I used to make up the Competition blend with Original and Tennessee before we discovered Smokey, but I'll try mixing the Smokey and Tennessee and see how we like it. Thanks for the idea!

Sorry - Beer first then sauce.

Oh yes, my wife and I have been in an endless war for refrigerator territory because of my inability to go to a grocery store without purchasing a sauce I haven't tried.
