SO I make variations on some of Meathead's sauces and have been wandering away from the original... tamarind paste instead of steak sauce (who has steak sauce in their houses? for what?)... saute some jalapenos with the onion... just a bit... ancho chile powder...i raise bees and have a dark honey so i use a cup of that and no molasses... piloncillo instead of regular brown sugar... whataburger ketchup...several added spices... never keeping track... and now this happens... I sort of freewheel it and get the best bbq sauce I have ever had. and am struggling frantically to write it down so I can repeat it..
