    Memphis dust bbq sauce

I smoked some ribs a few weeks ago that I used the Memphis dust rub on. I also made barbecue sauce using, I believe, Memphis dust as the spice ingredient added to the ketchup. My wife loved it, and I'd like to make it again. Problem is I can't find the recipe on this site. Does anyone know where the recipe is, or am I just confused about what I did? Thanks!

Here is the sweet BBQ sauce. No Memphis dust in the ingredient list

Allfudge I see this is your first post, so.....Welcome to The Pit! We love Memphis Dust, so I'll have to make some sauce with it. Thanks for the idea.

Welcome Allfudge. I use the Memphis Dust then add a thin coat of sweet baby Ray's sauce about 30 minutes before the ribs should be ready. Then I add another thin coat and put the ribs under the broiler until the sauce caramelizes.

RonB You should try making one of the sauces listed on this site. The KC sauce is good but people RAVE about the Tennessee Hollerin' whiskey sauce. My pulled pork go-to sauce is the East Carolina sauce

I made the Memphis dust bbq sauce today while smoking two racks. 10 tablespoons of dust, two cups of ketchup, 1 cup water, 1 tsp mustard, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, and 1 tbsp Worcestershire. Turns out very nice. I split the batch and added hot sauce to my stash; my wife likes the bbq sauce milder. Answered my own question!

Do you cook this down at all or just mix and use?
