    Sauce after the carmelization of the sauce?

    I have used the Tennessee Hollerin' Whiskey BBQ Sauce in the past for baby backs and it is wonderful. Would you suggest an application of the same sauce after caramelization of a first layer of that sauce?

    Welcome pdcapt. We're glad you're here. If it were me I'd set a layer of sauce by cooking low and slow for a while, then coating with another layer and caramelizing. I like cooked sauce so I always set or sear it.
