Try recreating the link/icon. It should pickup the new favicon.
Tested on my Android...
I'm guessing it's how I create my short cut because the icon did change, but I don't get the pig. But whithin chrome I see it. I'm creating the shortcut by accessing the menu in Chrome and selecting "Add to home screen". I'm linking the today's posts page.

Have you tried deleting and re-creating the link? That should force the new favicon to save. On my desktop it updated automatically, but it's not an iPhone.

raywjohnson - Things are still wonky. On my desktop (using Chrome) I now see the spooky pig when I create an amazingribs.com shortcut. On my iPhone, I get Meathead eating a rib.
And yes, I've cleared my browser cache in Chrome and (re)created the link on both the desktop and the iPhone.
BBQ is geeky. Just attracts a different set of geeks than comic books and fantasy novels (mostly different, I should say... I know I'm odd around here).
I would think you charge for the app, say $4.99. With about 35 thousand member if half bought the app you could generate $85000 to cover building the app. Then presumably the presence of the app could up membership and patronage of the website. Perhaps there could be a free ad supported app like the website, and a paid app that gives access to the forum without ads.

In building two websites, one of which being ABCbarbecue.com's original website, I thought I was cool knowing what a favicon is. But you just lost me with your geek-babble JGo37 Lol, now I have more to Google...
