Drupals are very hard to catch in their native habitat in the wild. No clue how to cook them.

Must be related to snipes... those little boogers are impossible to catch.

Update. I have created a multi resolution favicon for Pitmaster.

    It was approved for upload.

I am doing the update tomorrow evening.

My icon on android is boring and dull. Any chance I can get a pig icon?

Try recreating the link/icon. It should pickup the new favicon.

I'm guessing it's how I create my short cut because the icon did change, but I don't get the pig. But whithin chrome I see it. I'm creating the shortcut by accessing the menu in Chrome and selecting "Add to home screen". I'm linking the today's posts page.

In mobile Firefox I get the generic letter icons too for any bookmarked website.

Hmm... might be a Chrome issue. I will test that,

Have you tried deleting and re-creating the link? That should force the new favicon to save. On my desktop it updated automatically, but it's not an iPhone.

Yes I deleted the link and it did not change. Not a big deal. I actually like spooky pig. So on the free site the icon is Meathead’s avatar.

      #26
raywjohnson - Things are still wonky. On my desktop (using Chrome) I now see the spooky pig when I create an amazingribs.com shortcut. On my iPhone, I get Meathead eating a rib.

And yes, I've cleared my browser cache in Chrome and (re)created the link on both the desktop and the iPhone.

        Try to recreate it now.

        I forgot to update one image file that Chrome might use (favicon.png instead of favicon.ico).;

BBQ is geeky. Just attracts a different set of geeks than comic books and fantasy novels (mostly different, I should say... I know I'm odd around here).

OR we could just create an app.... lol

i will be ok with a $1 per month increase in dues to help fund it.

FYI: Huskee LOVES it when I mention this. Lol sorry!

I'll put in the proposal and sow for the app. I'd do that for $1.00/month per member... and a percent of residual sales when we go commercial.

I would think you charge for the app, say $4.99. With about 35 thousand member if half bought the app you could generate $85000 to cover building the app. Then presumably the presence of the app could up membership and patronage of the website. Perhaps there could be a free ad supported app like the website, and a paid app that gives access to the forum without ads.

In building two websites, one of which being ABCbarbecue.com's original website, I thought I was cool knowing what a favicon is. But you just lost me with your geek-babble JGo37 Lol, now I have more to Google...
