OK maybe I'm just slow and don't get it.
Is AmazingRibs a seperate site or is it part of Pitmaster and my membership payment pays for access to both?

I can login in to Pitmaster page all day long. I can not login in to the AmazingRibs page. That is just how it works for me. So I can not read more than maybe 1 review in the AmazingRibs section before it tells me to join and sign up or login in. So I chose login in. When I do that it takes me to the Pitmaster page where I'm loged in already. When I click on the AmazingRibs page the cycle starts all over again , wanting me to sign up or login in.
#1 Yes cache has been cleared.

#3 Yes I have cleared browser history

I believe that the public (free) part of the site is in the process of being rebuilt (updated). Ray is working very hard to get all the little glitches corrected as soon as possible. Shouldn't be too long...

To answer your question, if you are a paid member of the Pitmaster Club, you should have unlimited access to anything on the AmazingRibs site. Just give it some time, as mentioned.

In our Help section (the very first, far-left menu option) we have a help topic titled "Why Am I Seeing Ads? Or Ads Are Not Being Blocked". It lists a few more pointers to try out when cookies are acting up or there are other similar troubles.

However, as mentioned there's some work going on behind the scenes that sometimes breaks things. The international (literally) crew of computer minds are working on the bugs, from greatest to least, so please try any tips you haven't already tried in that article and please continue showing patience with us!

Cookies are a major PITA. I have websites I absolutely CANNOT STAY LOGGED INTO no matter what I do. I've done the cookie dance for years trying to 'allow' them to store cookies, clicking the 'keep me logged in' button and all kinds of other shit. Doesn't seem to make a damned bit of difference. Every single day I go back to those websites, I usually have to log in again, or some of them once every few days or week, etc.

There's no rhyme or reason to some of it. And some, yes, I have NEVER been able to stay logged in, just like you're describing. I had one website I paid for a membership, but no matter what I did, it kept logging me out immediately and asking me to sign up. I eventually left that one and don't go there anymore, it just wasn't worth the hassle. So I understand where you're coming from - hopefully this will be fixed soon with the site updates, but at least once those are done, I think Ray will probably work with you in trying to find out what is going wrong.

Odd, but I'm not having that problem, so possibly something with your browser? When you're clearing cache are you doing it for all time or just the past week, or one of the other options, possibly? If so, you may still have cookies set for the site.

If you're using chrome on your desktop, browse to amazingribs.com, open developer tools by pressing F12, then select "Application" from the list at the top (If you see Elements, Console, Network, Sources, it might be hidden in the overflow section so click this >>). In the list that shows up, under storage, you'll see cookies. Expand that, and there should be an entry for https://amazingribs.com. If there is, you can select it and see what cookies are set. I've got a bunch, and no I'm not going to share them here, hah!

From there you should be able to "Clear all cookies". That might help you out, if it's just on your side.

Your membership here has nothing to do with the free site access. https://amazingribs.com

Other than the special cookie set when you login here. That is used on the free site to allow you access to "Members Only" content. And to block the ads.

For all other pages on https://amazingribs.com, anyone can view.

There is nothing that requires you to join or login on the free site https://amazingribs.com. You are seeing the Advertisement popup that is supposed to only show to non Pitmaster Club members. It is currently showing to everyone. I have not had the time to fix it. As other more critical issues are taking precedent. Just click on the big X in the corner of the popup to close it.
