User reputations are something we disabled here. You may see it briefly under someone's avatar as a page loads but then it should disappear. Is this what you're referring to?

The "reputation" system is a vestigial feature from older versions of vBulletin. The score is based on a number of factors (below) and the ability to give "rep" to other members, positive and negative. That was replace be the the "Like" system (and I am not sure if that system effects reputation). I thought I had all the reputation displays turned off. I found that it was displaying on the member list.

Where did you see a "Reputation Tab"?

That only effects email sent via the Admin Control Panel. No one ever uses that.

Well, some of us have reputations. And some of us have bad reputations.

Huskee and raywjohnson, I was learning about Signatures, went to My Membership, then to My Membership Information, then to Settings, then to Account. Reputation Level has a box to activate or not.
STEbbq demonstrates it much more elegantly above.

That setting only has an effect when the reputation system is enabled. It is not currently enabled.

Hey it's not that bad. Eventually the picture yellows so you can't be recognized and they just give up.

My reputation is shot, even though I wasn't convicted of those 7 bank robberies.
Now it's got me thinking, which car should I drive today, the Maserati or the Bentley?

I know mine is shot. About 5 weeks ago I ran off the home solar system guy that has
knocked on my door 8 times in the last 18 months. I don’t know how many time they have to be told no. Their like an 18 month old child telling them No, No, No, the stove is hot. The hot stove in my house but still got to tell them No don’t want your solar system. I got the last solar guy so mad he got in his pickup and drove out of the subdivision not knocking on another door. Soon to be harassment.

For what it’s worth. I worked in the natural gas / oil field and was a pipeliner 42 years and those guys are brutal working around. You’ve gotta be a tough boot to work with them and not wear our feelings on our shirt sleeve. Their ways rubbed off on me some over the last 42 years. Some employees hired wouldn’t last 6 months
cause once found out their soft they caught living hell and quit a fantastic paying job.

Our town had some tennis ball size hail May 24 and damage roofs all over town. I asked my insurance adjuster what solar panel on a roof increases the roof replacement. He told me a minimum of $5,000 cause the solar company charges $500 removal and reinstall after roof is replaced. He said already ran into a case where the home owner didn’t report the solar system on his house to the insurance company. That owner will need to cough up $5,000 of his own money, OUCH!
Solar system on a home increases annual home insurance a minimum of $300

yes, similar here in the hurricane zone. Just think what will happen when 150 mile an hour storm comes through to those solar panels. 500 holes in the roof to mount them, what could happen?

Yikes that would be bad. The adjuster told me hail can break solar panels but it was very rare.
I don’t believe that would be rare. There is no way solar panels could survive softball size hail stones. My coworker lived in Kansas in the early 1990’s and hail stones would come clean through the roof of a mobile home.

Don't have to worry about that here in New Mexico.
I have Solar (21 Panels) on my house.
