I know this has been covered thoroughly.
Though using an app for those using iOS devices (not a computer) an Apple application has great advantages. You will get message notifications through all iOS devices, smart watches, iPhones, Alexa and through all smart televisions. Maybe in the years ahead that is available.
If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
Yeah, this is a vBulletin based site, and vBullein has pretty good mobile browser support. I don't see the AR team having the time and money to invest in an app, since the site is really based on a 3rd party web framework (vBulletin) already - vBulletin would basically need to offer the mobile app. Anything else would require an app be developed that reverse engineers the vBulletin database to present the forums. It would be a heck of a lot of work.

There were apps for mobile to access forums. Mobiquo, forumrunner, and tapatalk. Only tapatalk still exists. It has a plugin for vB v5.0 (we are currently at v5.7). In order for it to work, the plugin needs to be installed/confgured here and an account has to be setup to connect the site to tapatalk. Then you have to install the app and signup for a tapatalk account. And all that effort just to display on a mobile phone (plus a few extra features). And, then tapatalk can track everything you do on the app.
To restate the problem with an app. Lots of effort for very little added functionality. These apps are basically unnecessary as modern forums have good mobile view support.
I’ve messed with Tapatalk before for a few other forums, and feel it’s just not worth it - and I may be wrong, but I feel you had to pay something to have Tapatalk work fully. Regardless I stopped fooling with it as the forums that supported it were just about as easy to use with their mobile browser support,
