I received an email (A new post in your Forum Post subscription: Not receiving email) on 7-18-23. Nothing since. Will the changes you made enable me to get the online magazines and and any other A.M. emails or do I need to subscribe to everything else individually. If so how do I do so?

You can manually "follow" any topic (or an entire channel). You will automatically be set to follow any topic you post in (that can be changed in your Setting:Notifications Tab). All active members should be on the regular mailing lists (that is via Constant Contact) for newsletters, etc.Comment

From the current issue of Hot From the Pit...
"In May we had to pick 12 different winners to give away 4 prizes due to forfeits, meaning 8 different members won a prize but didn't read our email and thus forfeited. Talk about "you snooze, you lose"!
Since I am not receiving emails from A.R. I could have been a winner. What is the alternate method to see if I was selected?Comment

As the newsletter also mentions, around the 7th-10th of each month I will announce the winners here in The Pit in the Announcements > Great Giveaway Sweepstakes Winners channel. I will create a new post each month around this timeframe and it will be clearly labeled "[Month] 2023 Sweepstakes Winners" and it will contain the winner's usernames who were selected, they will be "mentioned" (tagged) by me, and I will email you at the email you have registered to your membership. ...are not coming through for whatever reason (your email system could be blocking us, or they are going to spam folder perhaps) then the last resort is remember to log in and check for the monthly winners announcement topic to see if you're one of them. Winners have 5 days to claim their prize, in that announcement topic, as each topic mentions, and if any forfeit then the new winner(s) will be picked and announced in that same topic after the 5-day point.

I received your email in my email inbox, so you are not being blocked. If A.R. is using a third party vendor for these emails could the issue be they have an error on their end? As I understand it notification is only done by email and the member must reply to the email to claim prize. Sorry if I'm not completely understanding the process. Are you saying I can go elsewhere on the site to see if my name has been drawn and claim a prize from there?Comment

Click "Announcements" above in the main red menu bar. Then on the Announcements page you'll see 2 sub-channels. Click the one that says 'Great Giveaway' Sweepstakes Winners. There you will see each month's announcement topic. Open one. Read the first main post in it. That topic, and only there, is where that month's winners make a post to claim their prize. I will create a new one in that main channel each month and list its winners. I *also* email each winner, but you claim in the monthly topic
