Did Amazing Ribs stop sending emails? I used to get them but have not received one since mid 2020. My email address has been the same for over 10 years. I am unable to contact A.R. via email as the site directs . However it requires verification by CAPTCHA to complete the process. Here's the problem, CAPTCHA does not display on my computer for this the A.R. site. This is very frustrating, especially when one takes into account monthly drawing winners are notified by email only. For all I know I might have been a selected, but as I no longer receive email it is impossible to know. VERY FRUSTRATING.

"HOT From The Pit!" Members-Only Newsletter Hot From The Pit is an email newsletter that I send monthly (only to members) to let you know about the past month's fun in The Pit, the last sweepstakes winner, glorious drool-worthy food pictures submitted by your fellow members, planned maintenance outages or other
I would also try Edge browser, Chrome, and possibly FireFox if the above doesn’t work for the CAPCHA issue.

Buffalo What emails are you speaking of; annual renewal reminders? Monthly newsletters? Notification here in The Pit if someone mentions you, or topics you're subscribed to here in The Pit? There are several different emails and each one has its own list of reasons why you may have stopped receiving them. If you can help me with this detail I or RayJ can investigate this further for you.

Sometimes the forum software fails to properly save changes to your profile. I checked your membership and noticed that you were not subscribed/following any topic. When you posted here, this topic should have been added to your follow list. But it was not added. The usual fix is to make a change to the profile settings, save, then change back, then save. I did that for you.
I added this topic to your follow list and switched your email notifications from "On, daily" to "On" for the test post above. The system did send a email. Let me know if you received it.
I switch your email notifications back to "On, daily" -- which means you will get one email every day with all the notifications instead of getting them each whenever there is a new post.
The system sends email in batches every 10 minutes. So up to 10 minutes from post to email notice.

The newsletters are not sent from here. They are from a Constant Contact email list. Your email host is one of those that is deeply draconian about spam. The newsletter emails might be marked spam or outright rejected by your host (att.net). You might try logging in to your account there and seeing if you can add amazingribs.com to an allow list.
