This is clearly not a rush thing by any means.

So the reminder that I will be automatically renewed showed up:


When I click Dismiss, the box will go away and I immediately get the pop-up and then subsequent overlay that says the message was dismissed.

However, when I do a new Recent Posts search, the message comes back.

I'm thinking it is probably a cookie thing? I block third-party cookies, but I don't think that would apply here.

I was just telling the LW this morning how great The Pit is, because for the last month I’ve seen this unobtrusive reminder that I’ll soon be renewed. BTW, I’m on an iPad Pro running iOS 16.3.1 and Safari, and I’ve NEVER had a popup on the pay side.

Ok! Just ran the code that was restoring the notices. Looks like it works (as in it did NOT restore your 3 week notice). I will be keeping an eye on it.
