This is a general question, but can temp probes like this be submerged? Like in a sousvide bath to double check temp at the bottom?

I should have read the review. Not these fancy probes, I mean a normal probe on a Maverick or iGrill.

I wouldn't submerge any probe unless it is specifically designed for that, such as a sous vide probe from Thermoworks.
