It's not the Fireboard killer, no way. You're spot on Histrix, it'll take a few sales away is all. Just a much less expensive alternative whose functionality & features is great for its price.

Oh yeah Foreboard is here to stay! I mean 6 probes. Its only going to get better. Before long they'll be at 8. I'm jumping in at that point. 8lbs butt, 1 probe a pound. I can't wait!

Huskee, Jon Solberg, Don't You Gents Track the Ambient and Pit Tempsâ“ The Sunday Following Thanksgiving while Smoking a Turkey it Occurred to Me that I need to Ask FireBoard for a Next Generation with "8" Probe Capabilities‼ï¸
The Set Up Would Be as Follows:
FireBoard Probe #: 1 Ambient (Outside Temp)
FireBoard Probe #: 2 Left Pit Grill Temp (Oklahoma Joe Highland Offsett)
FireBoard Probe #: 3 Left Breast Temp (Turkey)
FireBoard Probe #: 4 Left Thigh Temp (Turkey)
FireBoard Probe #: 5 Right Breast Temp (Turkey)
FireBoard Probe #: 6 Right Thigh Temp (Turkey)
FireBoard Probe #: 7 Aux. Food Temp (Stuffing-Turkey)
FireBoard Probe #: 8 Right Pit Grill Temp (Oklahoma Joe Highland Offsett)
I believe with this 8 Probe Configuration and the Fan Control Cord FireBoard Could Yell Check and Mateâ—ï¸
If They further Refined the Probes to Function Wireless to the Control Unit "BBQ NIRVANA" Would Existâ€¼ï¸ IMHOP of Course‼ï¸

Danjohnston949 I do track the ambient temp when testing. BUT the FlameBoss only reads down to 32°f While I don't see it as a shortcoming of the product it does limit my tracking of the outside temp for a good chunk of the year.
