Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

I just may have to try this. I can't eat fried livers or anything like that BUT I do like pate' and liverwurst.
After going to the recipe, I have to say I really enjoyed the foreword regarding Meathead's Dad.

I really do consider myself lucky in that even today I still can eat fried chicken livers. I sometimes drive out of my way just to visit this little hole in the wall gas station that still serves them up the same way as decades ago. 😋
Donw we have those little gas stations scattered all over NC, more so in the eastern part. Livers, gizzards, fried chicken and fried potato wedges. My parents absolutely love fried chicken livers. I could never get a taste for them unfortunately.
Born and raised in NC. Most family from Johnston, Sampson, Harnett, Wayne and Moore. Love of fried chicken parts and organs must be something deep in our genes.
