This sounds really good! I love smoked salmon dip! …..Seems like I may need to hit up Spinaker for a sampler of his fresh Rutty Buck Maple Syrup to give this a shot!

I believe this is what my group made at the Weber event. If so…it was AWESOME!

Oh absolutely! I am all in on this one. Love this kinda stuff. I can add this to my canned sardine and mackerel addiction.

My grandmother used to LOVE sardines. Honestly, I never truly gave them a fair shot, and I’m still kind of put off by them. I guess I don’t know what I’m getting into. In my mind, they are full of bones and will taste overly fishy. I love seafood, but not if it’s overly fishy.

RickyBobby They are a lot like canned tuna, texture and taste, more or less. Yes, there's bones (spine) in sardines, but they're soft they're not hard crunchy and gross. I think "fish steaks" don't' have any bone pieces, but honestly in sardines they're barely noticeable, really only to the eyes.

I am always overjoyed when MH posts another fish recipe. I've tried them all and so far every one of them have become staples for my family. I'm making this with salmon either tonight or tomorrow.

Spinaker we eat that one at least once every three weeks. It's ridiculously good.

I made it. This is some I set aside for my neighbors. I really love it. I think I like the Provencal fish pate more, but this is so good. MH says in the recipe that it gets better after a few hours for the flavors to marry. I found this to be the case. We had it for dinner, but it was much better the next morning for breakfast.

I have some smoked trout that I did last fall vacuum sealed in the freezer. I look forward to trying this for one of our deck get togethers when the weather warms. Should go good with our cocktails before dinner. Maybe at our Kentucky Derby party
