Victory takes a plunge into the griddle wave that is sweeping the outdoor cooking world. This trend was building for years and now everyone is getting in on the action. We cooked a variety of griddled delicacies on Victory and got great results on everything that hit that porcelain coated surface. The Victory griddle cooked as well as any gas griddle, including the Blackstone we have used over the years. Click here to read our detailed review.

That is a heck of a sale right now at $325 down from $800. Maybe this should be in deals for everyone too?

Wow! That is an amazing sale price. Clearance though, implying that BBQGuys isn't carrying it once stock is depleted. Or a new model is coming out.

Possibly, but this is a nice griddle and the cook top is great. I loved it because it was simple and easy to use. They are adding too many bells and whistles to these things. (Air fryer, warming drawer etc) jfmorris

It looks nice, but according to my chat with BBQGuys, there is no conversion kit available to change it to natural gas.

Nice review Spinaker It looks to be a serious contender in the griddle market. What would you say prevented you from giving it a Platinum rating?

Build quality. Although I would say it is right in line with the blackstone and others as far as that goes. I liked the cook top better than any griddles I have used.

I am eyeing this up on Amazon for $399 right now - anyone comment on one of these long term? I live near the ocean so stainless steel is a nice touch.

This unit may be satisfactory for you, but if you're particularly trying to get a higher level of corrosion resistance this one would likely disappoint. Not all "stainless" steel is equal in corrosion resistance. Variations in alloy composition affect level of resistance. Cheap products like this are typically 430 grade which is only slightly more resistant than carbon steel. A 304 grade would be highly resistant by comparison but likely would cost three or more times the price.

Uncle Bob thank you for the information. Franky, I have found much that doesn't rust where I am (PBC aside).
