Camp Chef has a knack for reaching a moderate price point with products that cut production costs yet still manage to get the job done. There is a temperature imbalance between the lightweight hood and pizza stone over the burner, but setting Italia to medium heat produces a properly cooked pizza without burning the crust. Looked good but it's too bad about the temperature imbalance. My Blackstone solves that problem with its 2 stone design and a burner that washed both with the fire resulting in an even heat. I wouldn't want a pizza oven that could really only perform at medium heat. I already have an oven in my house.
Max Good Great, I'll be interested in reading it although I'm still using the original. I would also be curious about seeing a review for their other new pizza oven that uses the 22" griddle as a heat source even though I suspect without live fire its capability must be limited.

I have had an Italia attachment for my 2 burner camp chef for several years now, love it. It gets HOT HOT too with both burners on high. Like makes my IR temp gun read Err. And it goes to 750°.
