Can’t wait. I want a picture of you cooking on this, too. I can only imagine how happy you will be.

      Thanks Jim.
At least I won’t have to wait as long as I would if I went with an LSG. 😂😂😂 As much as I love all things LSG theirs is just too big for my space and too expensive for my budget at this time.

Update: This bad boy is coming together. Body is basically done. Legs and wheels are on and the lower shelf is about to get welded up. Click image for larger version

Dewalt tools and an actual flat surface to build on, already a winner. Probably 10 minutes of grinding for every 30 seconds of welding.

Oh Boy. This puppy is coming along nicely.
The bracket for the adjustable cooking grate is in and the shelves adjustable shelves are going on today.
I gotta say I’m pretty happy so far. Click image for larger version

My new soon to arrive Santa Maria Grill is finished and on the way to its new home. Mine 😁.
I’ll start a new thread after I get it and use it a couple of times to give a review.
Anyway here she is all finished up and awaiting packaging. Note the folding side shelves and the lid on top of the cooking grate. I had Cody make the lid to help extinguish the fire. Thus saving me some fuel for the next cook. Neat idea if I don’t say so myself. 😂 Click image for larger version

I've sent two PM's to you about a slight modification if this has not hit the cart to your house. Neither as showing up in my messages. If you don't get it, let me know.

Thanks. Can’t wait till it shows up in my driveway.

Been thinking about what to cook first. Actually thinking of cooking a big ol Cowboy ribeye. But a tri-tip sounds pretty dang good too. And I got one of those in the freezer. 🤔 decisions decisions.

Well. Last I know of, it’s was passing through New Mexico on Friday. Soooooooo. That might be a bit hard to do. I might be pretty tall with a wide wingspan, but I don’t think I could quite reach that puppy just yet. But I can try.

Steve B Ok, I’ve conferred with a few of the boys here and this is what we’re gonna need……

              1. Pics of it when you first get it, all wrapped up and also unwrapped. [bonus points for pics of the delivery truck]
              2. Your thoughts on the packaging/crating and how well, or not well, it was done.
              3. Immediately notify us here, what you’re gonna do as your first cook, full photo array expected.
              4. You mentioned doing a review of it after a couple of cooks. We will need at least 8 hours notice before posting your review….we need time to have the popcorn ready.
