I have been watching this very heartwarming Japanese TV show on Netflix called..."Midnight Diner." It basically is about this guy who runs a small diner in Tokyo that opens at Midnight and closes at 7:00AM. Also the stories associated with his late night customers and the food they eat. He has 1 item on the menu, (Pork Miso Soup). However you can order anything you want as long as he has the Ingredients. You can also get beer and sake.
The food is beautifully photographed and the stories just hit the heart every time.
If you can get past the subtitles, I say it's worth a watch.

Just so ya know, there are actually 2 seasons of MD. Both have the same name listed on Netflix, but one is only 4 episodes, the other about 8 (not sure as I haven’t watched them again for quite awhile). We loved them all.
