Here's the books I've been looking at the most lately. Not all BBQ books, but good nonetheless.

DiverDriver, going to have to try that place. My best eat to date in NO was The Court of Two Sisters - it brought tears to my eyes...

Well, it took long enough, but I finally got Meathead's book. Scanned through it last night and looking forward to trying some things.
I also use Chris Lilly's "Big Bob Gibson BBQ Book" quite a bit. People like the Apple Bourbon BBQ sauce from that book. I'm a vinegar and crushed red peppers guy myself, but make an exception for that one.
My other heavy hitters are "The Joy of Cooking", Justin Wilson's "Homegrown Louisiana Cooking" (the chicken and sausage jambalaya has been a standard of mine for 30 years) and various America's Test Kitchen books.
