Well this should help the Pit Membership....I checked multiple sources and this appears to be real. Amazing.

What will they think of next.

I guess they're not doing new beef recipes, but not going through and taking down the existing ones...

Or a private business running their operation the way in which they choose as is their right. Either way, I'm slightly less likely to use Epicurious now. I say slightly because the chances are I'll come to a recipe site through a search so I still may end up there. I get recipes from vegetarian and vegan sites now. It doesn't bother me that those sites don't have recipes that include meat.

Crazy. I just checked their website, and it is interesting that articles like the "Top 31 Recipes" and such have *ZERO* beef in any of the recipes, so this looks to be legit. I am sure existing beef based recipes are still there, but they will not put them in any list or promote them.

      I view this as anti-beef, not pro-planet....

I heard Epicurious was owned by PBR but that may just be rumor. Maybe it was the guys at Epicurious drink PBR, oh never mind.

Is an argument between two vegans still called a beef?

I'm soooo happy to be a an omnivore.

I honestly can't recall ever using a recipe from Epicurious. There as useless at Food Network (with rare exception).

If they felt so strongly about it, in their core and not just a PR stunt, then yes they'd remove all the current beef recipes. But no, those benefit them so why remove them. Fakery.
