Made some dried beef bread dip today. This is something that is really easy to make and most people love it.
Here are the ingredients

16 oz. Sour Cream
1 cup Mayonnaise
5 oz. jar of Dried Beef
1/4 cup finely diced Onion
1 Tablespoon fresh Dill
1/2 Tablespoon Beau Monde
You also need some bread to dip into the dip. I’ve used many different kinds in the past but my favorite kind is NY Rye.

If you want to get all fancy you can put the dip into a bread bowl.

Once you make your bread bowl go ahead and cube up what you removed and put everything into a 350° oven for a few minutes. You do not want to make croutons but you want the bread to get a bit firmer so it’s easier to dip.
I need the green parts of the green onion for my twice baked potatoes I’m making tomorrow so I just decided to use the white parts for the dip today. I’ll usually just use a yellow onion.
For the dip just add the sour cream and mayonnaise to a bowl. Finely dice the onion, chop the dill and chop up the dried beef. Add to the bowl along with the Beau Monde.
Mix until blended well.

Let sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours for the flavors to mingle.
Had to try it out.

I took this to our friends house this afternoon after the Browns football game. I did not get any picture of the dip in the bread bowl. The dip was gone in 30 minutes and everyone wanted the recipe.
The Beau Monde lists salt, onion, celery seed and spices as the ingredients.
