Came across this just now so haven't made. Figured I'd share. Dropped into Paprika. Whole Foods has a pretty good selection via their Fish Monger. I like the idea of trout.
Costco has a great smoked whitefish dip. Last time i went real fishing i smoked some mackerel fish cakes that were great. Never made my own fish dip though. Love the idea.
I love smoked fish dip/spread. I can get it a lot of places around here, my co-op sells a smoked fish and a crab version that are both great, and there is a fishmonger I hit up frequently that makes their own, excellent also. Never considered trying my hand at it, but hmmm, worth a little experimentation. Thanks for the recipe
