First time making donuts at home!

First time making donuts 🍩 this morning! It was a success! Not shaped very well, but I used what I had laying around to make the shape. Yes, that is a bolt to cut the centers / holes.

    cinnamon sugar topping!

My grandmother was a huge fan of cake donuts and would make some at the drop of a hat. These are raised, no?

Yeah, they’re yeast. I prefer yeast donuts over cake. Just a preference though! I’ll still eat both 😋

Interesting use of a socket to cut the holes! Mine would need lots of washing before that type use....
