    Butter recall....Costco...no microbes

Costco was forced to recall nearly 80,000 pounds of butter because the label failed to mention that the kitchen staple contains milk — and many social media users are rolling their eyes at the dairy dilemma.

So two recalls in one day. Mattel is pulling their new dolls based on the Wicked Broadway show and upcoming movie because the boxes have printed on them a link to Wicked.com, a porn site, and not WickedMovie.com which is the correct site. 😳

Mattel is pulling its Wicked dolls from some store shelves because of a misprint directing shoppers to a pornographic site. Meanwhile, resellers are listing the products on eBay for up to $500.

I remember when whitehouse.com instead of .gov was searched at our high school library. Everybody was surprised by this porn site so I was told........

Purc - Happened to my aunt. She was the Principal at a Catholic school, also a leader in the local diocese. She mistakenly used the .com address in her inaugural Internet class. It’s funny now….🤣🫢

I just wonder how many people will run to Costco to return the butter.

That has to be stupid. If someone buys BUTTER that does not say "PLANT BASED" (which is not really butter), I think they know the butter is DAIRY. What a waste of food, time and money.

EDIT: I think they should dump all of it in the front yard of the head of the FDA, who is causing all this waste of perfectly good butter. It is BUTTER. BUTTER. Everyone knows what butter is, and knows it is dairy. Good grief...

It was initiated by the Dairy company. That was clarified later.

FireMan so cool to mention clarified with respect to butter that is not clarified, but ghee the circumstances surrounding it are churning my stomach

This is unacceptable!!!! I have about 3, 4-packs of Costco butter at home that I need to get out and return to Costco so I can get butter!!! I’m out of state for a hunting trip!!!!! ……wait…… exchanging butter, for butter……. Never mind. I’m good.

Just make sure it says "Contains Milk" as an allergen before leaving the store.

Wow! I wonder whose brainchild this was to come up with recalling butter a couple weeks before Thanksgiving and the holidays that everyone needs butter for.

I have 4 pack in the freezer. I just checked. It contains milk…whew.
It does beg the question as to how this happened?
        new packaging provider?

I'll give 'em $0.10 on the dollar for it. Fo sho. Hell, I'll even go pick it up at my local store and not charge 'em for 'disposal'.

Hopefully the butter goes to food pantries, etc.. Any rational idiot would sign a receipt indicating they know it has dairy. Perhaps something also acknowledging that much vegetable matter was consumed and destroyed in the process. And water. And that methane was produced prior to butter production.

I suspect that Costco has recourse against the supplier. Imagine the logistics if that butter made it into individual stores.

Ya'll gotta remember who we are dealing with here, the FDA, the Fudd Dope Adstration.
This by the way is not their first rodeo. This is real!
