At these prices the chance that these are real EVOO is slight. But they taste good, and they are definitely different from each other.

Thanks for sharing! Learned a lot and will certainly be making some changes in my approach!

I’ve had a lot of bad olive oils, and when they’re bad they’re bad!

For several years now I’ve been exclusive with Costco’s Organic EVOO in the big jug. Not their standard EVOO…gotta be the organic. Tastes great!

I don’t use it for cooking much other than Italian food (avocado oil is my main oil), but it goes in the balsamic dressing my wife makes!

I picked up a jug after reading good reviews. But I'm working through another bottle before I get to taste it.

Reviving this dated thread. I joined the freshpressedoliveoilclub.com, TJ Robinson, last fall. Have received 3 shipments, plus ordered his holiday balsamic vinegar selection. Outstanding. And his newsletter is great. Interesting, informative, crisp.

Your first step in this world is to go with Costco oil and balsamic, then step up here.

I have just purchased "bathroom cups", small paper cups perfect for olive oil tastings! It is hilarious to set out some little bottles and let folks have at them. The initial reluctance to drink raw oil (really just fruit juice) is readily overcome. Have some quality fresh baguettes available.

I’ve been a member for a little over a year now and I’m very happy with the quality and freshness of their EVOO’s. Every bottle has been spectacular. I’m not using it enough though as I now have 3 full bottles and 3 half full ones. But plan on using much more in the coming weeks and months as I need to alter my diet. As I’m getting my fat ars fatter. 🤦🏼😳

I went with the advice of Lynn Rosetta Casper of Splendid Table fame. Kirkland’s EVOO.

The show hasn't been the same since she stepped down.

I haven’t heard the show in years but did get to meet her once and get her book signed.

Dammit. I put this thread behind me. And this yakima person revived it. And I am a weak man. 3 bottles. Then I am canceling. Yeah, that's the plan.

Now there’s a childhood memory if ever there was one. Miss Oyl must have been quite the prize for two men to fight over her constantly. And she managed to keep her slender figure after Sweet Pea was born.

On the recommendation of CandySueQ, I found locally California Meyer Lemon olive oil. Also picked up an Italian version, Oleum Sicilia Condimento Al Limone Olio Extravergine Di Oliva. The California product is tasty, mild, wife likes it. The Italian product is ROBUST. Sampled on a baguette, it had me coughing more than after any other sampling. Sort of addictive, after one lightens up the dosage.

If TJ Robinson has a 3 point scale, with his Bold being 3, the Italian is a 5.
