    I think I said a while back that I'd post a video clip of how we recommend doing smash burgers. Sorry for the delay.

    Here it is



    Looking forward to outdoor grilling season again!

    Although . .. we made smashburgers in the garage last night, and they were great!

        It took a few times for me to get smart enough to learn how to avoid having the beef stick to the spatula. (I know much more about raising cattle than grilling . . .but it's been fun to learn.)

          I bought a jar of Dukes a while back. I'm a Hellman's (Best Foods) Mayo person. I took two bites out of the Dukes jar, and threw the rest of it out. Total waste of money. Most horrible Mayo ever created. Inedible in my world. Just sayin".

            Dukes, Best Foods and Miracle Whip are all good depending on the application and what you're used to.

            The are different forms of goose grease.

            It's quite different from Anthony Bourdain's, which is the only one I've made. I'll find Bourdain's and post it soon.

          Willy That looks good. Am I stupid, how much meat goes in this recipe? I didn’t see it.

          Yeah there are two schools regarding steak tartare - w mayo or without. I’m going to give this a whirl. Thanks!

            It's the third ingredient from the bottom--1&1/4 # sirloin.
