Not trying to help anyone spend money
but this has been one of the best investments I’ve made for cooking, only $44. If you don’t have a gas grill with a side burner or don’t feel like firing up the kettle, consider getting a portable butane single burner stove. I’ve had this one for 4-5 years now and it works great for my blackened meat cooks I do out in the garage. It has started right up on the first click of the knob every time, 15,000 BTU’s and comes with its own carrying case. I use it for regular or deep frying sometimes too, if I don’t want smells in the house. I’ve got a cheap set of TV trays and I just set it on top of one for the cook. They have a 10,000 BTU model for $25 and have some 2 burner models as well.
