In a follow up to a conversation that realdocBBQ and I had here is the recipe for Bacon Jalapeño deviled eggs. Go to realhousemoms.com and search for bacon jalapeño deviled eggs. Margo said the only changes she makes are to use pickled jalapeños and use more bacon. They are life changing!

I dunno man... realhousemoms.com sounds like a website Panhead John spends a lot of time on with the blinds drawn and the lights down low. I dunno if I can put that in my browser without looking over my shoulder to make sure The Wife isn't hovering in the next room! lol

What in the world are you talking about?
If it is good enough for Panhead John it is good enough for the rest of us.

Oh.... oh my. Now you have my interest fo' realz. I doubt The Wife would go for it, but... dand. surfdog do you mix wasabi in with the filling, or do you like put a dollop on top as a spicy garnish? I could see it either way, but The Wife wouldn't want it mixed, she'd likely want to be able to scrape it off, is my guess.

realdocBBQ I just mix it right in… You could obviously set aside a couple and try it.
Start with a little and go from there. I put a bit too much in the first time and that’s all I could taste…but it cleared my sinuses, my ears, my tears ducts… ROFL
