Yes, there are many features of traeger grills. The material of Traeger Grill is outstanding. While latest model of traeger grill has features like WiFi and Bluetooth. Price of Traeger grill is also normal.

from my research and hands on, Traeger is overpriced. The build quality and materials are nothing special, and they seem to be pricing on name alone. I'm not a fan of RT's heavy handed marketing and the way they handle complaints on social media, but between the 2 brands I'd say RT is the better value. Quality wise IMO Traeger should be pricing in competition with other big box store brands. Neither brand is a bad grill, and I know plenty of happy owners for either brand.

Current cookers:
Recteq RT-700 "Bull" pellet cooker
Smokin-It model 2 electric smoker w/ Maverick 732 temp monitor and cold smoking kit
Weber Genesis 3 burner gas grill w/ rotisserie
Charbroil Grill2Go gas grill
Weber 22" Performer Deluxe kettle grill w/ThermoPro TP-20S temp monitor
Onlyfire rotisserie kit for 22" kettle
Weber Smokey Joe
SnS Deluxe
Vortex
The Orion Cooker convection cooker/smoker (two of them)
Pit Boss Ultimate 3 burner griddle
Joule Sous Vide circulator
Thermopen original.
Too many miscellaneous accessories (grill pans, baskets, tools, gloves, etc.) to keep track of. 🤦♂️
Favorite beer: Anything that's cold!
Favorite cocktail: Bourbon neat
And I am in the opposite camp. I have the Recteq. See my avatar. I love it. I did research on pellet smokers for nearly a year and I chose the RT 700 in the end mostly because of the six year warranty. Otherwise, they all seemed more or less the same aside from a few variances in the smaller features.

LSG large insulated cabinet
Yoder YS640
LSG 48" Santa Maria Gill
SNS travel kettle
FireBoard controller and PitBull fan
FireBoard 2 Drive
Thermapen Mk4
Thermapen One
Avid Armor USV32 Vacuum Sealer
KWS 10" slicer
They are both good cookers and both have many followers here. Warranty and customer service are big factors because with so many moving parts, things can go wrong.
I decided to go with a Yoder YS640 for the USA build and HD construction.

I have had both. Not the current models but the predecessor to both. The RecTeq was by far the better of the two. Heavier build provided more consistent temps. 6 year warranty. More knowledgeable customer service. Huge hopper. I had the RT-680 and the Traeger Texas. Maybe Traeger has made some improvements these days, but when I had them I felt as though Traeger was over priced. Not saying it was a bad grill, it's just that you get a lot more and better with a RecTeq for about the same price.

Rec Tec pellet grill
Weber Genesis Gasser
Maverick ET-732 and Thermapen and others
I agree with Rod . I have owned both and I have had my Rec Teq now for 6+ years and it's been great. Had a Traeger for a year before that and got tired of babysitting it, but now they have upgraded their controllers so maybe they are better.

I have had two Traegers and they both conked out after three years. Customer service was okay on the first one but could not ever get anyone to call back when the second one died. That is lousy customer service!!
Never had a Rec-Tec but hear and read good things about them.
I figure a Traeger is "a Chevy" and the Rec-Tec is "a Buick".
Now I have a Camp Chef and it is much better than the Traegers.

It probably depends more on the specific models you are comparing. RecTeq are probably better built grills. However, they also censor reviews on their website and I feel that is very misleading as it's the only place you can buy one new, so there's no where to really read unbiased reviews. Traeger grills are available more places which means you can find accessories and possible parts more places instead of just direct. Each is going to have it's pluses and minuses. In my brief experience with the new Traeger D2 controllers, they produced less smoke than the older dial controllers, but the older controllers had temp swings (which helps improve smoke flavor) that caused some users to complain. There are a ton of capable pellet grills in this part of the market with the ones you mentioned along with CampChef, GMG, Grilla and more also being there.
Not to make it overwhelming, but if you are looking at something like the Traeger Ironwood or RT-700, you might take a little time to research the Amercian made pellet grills available like Yoder, Blazin, Smokin Brothers, Pitts & Spitts, MAK (probably the priciest of the bunch), Cookshack PG500, etc. to see what a little more $ could get you. The Weber SmokeFire is also American assembled with globally sourced parts. All of these are a class above the mass market stuff quality wise compared to the $500-1000 category.

Rec Tec Stampede, Pit Barrel Cooker, Weber One Touch Gold 22.5", Kamado Joe Classic
Newer models of both brands are good. I have a rec teq stampede and just bought the bullseye. I didnt think the higher priced brands gave me something extra considering the extra money spent
