They will just be warmed up in an oven at work. I’ve thought before about vacuum packing them and warming in a water bath, but never tried it yet.

I haven't tried it yet either. That sounds like a lot of meat for owner circulator.

Brisket is probe tender! In the oven on warm for now. Gonna try to get a little sleep.

I hope mine ends up looking that good. Enjoy the Zzzz. I caught a couple hours in "in between" land earlier, while everything was leveled off nicely. Hope you can post a few of the feast.

So how do other residents of that motel handle waking up to the smell of brisket anyway?

        #21
EdF No complaints yet. There are a number who have smokers/grills outside their rooms, but I rarely smell them cooking. The neighbor immediately to my right has a gasser I saw cooking once, and smelled the burning sugar on his sauced pork steaks. The couple two doors down know how to use their charbroil, but don't use it often. Told me this morning he has a pork loin for later today. Apparently, they talk about me here. The owner was telling me they say I am smart for saving money by cooking myself. Been out a lil over a month now (I think), and have only eaten out twice. Everything else has been Hasty Baked, save some cookies and ice cream.

Cool. I was actually wondering whether they felt tormented!

I think it's a good idea too. I rarely travel for long periods, so it isn't worth it to me, but earlier this year I did 3 weeks and I cooked most of the time.

That's the beauty of Van travel! My kitchen is with me all the time.

Final picture. The meat disappeared in no time flat.
