GMG Workout

So, the plant is in a refueling outage and I tradionally bring BBQ in after a night off. So, I have tonight off and it’s time to fire up the Jim Bowie!

I’m starting with a small Chuckie and two small slabs of bacon. Once the bacon is done, I’ll put a whole packer brisket on. I also have three TriTips in the HTTM!! Gonna be a busy night.

Yep. Having a night off is kinda a waste, since ive still got to stay up all night to be ready for the next six nights at work. May as well enjoy smokin’ BBQ and maybe a nice cigar!

Kinda… corporate America is strange. The plant was originally ComEd, then they merged with PECO out east, then Constellation …

So, I work for Exelon Corporation in the Nuclear division, but ComEd is also a division of Exelon.

Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.
