Sounds like you have a plan. I liked the Copper Vein quite a bit and was leaning toward the Grid Iron as well, but ended up going with the Rec Tec 680 due to a savings of ~$300 and it gets great reviews. Arrived late this week, assembled yesterday, and doing my first cooks today- bacon this morning and jalapeño poppers now, and lamb loin chops in a bit.

Well, I done did it now! Over the last two days, I sold my Traeger Junior and Texas Grill to make space, and I just ordered a Blazn' Grill Works Grid Iron. I added the lid insulator (which Tim was kind enough to throw in for free), and a grill cover (which he gave me for about half off). And of course, I went with the copper vein. Tim said it was only going to be a 2-3 week wait before it came my way. Now I just have to wait.
...I guess to pass the time, I'll just have to do some pork butts on my one remaining smoker, the Traeger Select. I'll keep y'all posted on updates as I get them.
