I see a trend: People with fewer electric appliances, but using them more fully. I'm game.
I'm waiting for the next great kitchen appliance: The Insta-Sous! It's a pressure cooker, it does sous vide! You can use it like a crock pot! It does rice!
Therefore, with one appliance failure, I can shut down half my recipe book.
Replace:
Old electric percolator
Anova
Mini chopper
Kitchen Aid stand mixer
Air fryer
Vitamix
Vac Sealer (in fact I just replaced one)
Not:
Instant Pot we hardly ever use it, maybe if I put some effort into learning it I would use it more
Crock Pot we have a couple of them use them rarely
Waffle Iron we have a really cheap one, if we got a better one I would probably use it more
Keurig
George Foreman grill (haven’t used it for 20 years)
Food Processor I have a really old, fancy one we use maybe twice a year
Breville Smart Oven Air*
KA Stand Mixer
Joule Sous Vide*
Sous Vide Supreme
Keurig*
Coffee Grinder*
Nespresso Creatista*

Our first house had a gas stove, I’d never had one, was nervous about it at first, but quickly learned how awesome in was. 11 years ago we moved to a house with no gas hookup in kitchen and had a smooth top electric. I hate it. Leaning towards an induction for replacement vs having gas line ran, but it sure is tempting to go back to gas.
Must Replace ASAP:
Sous Vide
Coffee Maker
Toaster Oven
Rice Cooker
Would Replace:
Espresso Machine
Coffee Grinder
Crock Pot
Stand Mixer (Would be on my Wife's ASAP List)
Blender
Mini-Chopper
Immersion Blender
Scale
Popcorn Maker
Would Not Necessarily Replace:
Instant Pot
Food Processor
Waffle Maker
Electric Griddle
Ice Cream Maker
Retired, living in Western Mass. Enjoy music, cooking and my family.
Current cookers Weber Spirit 3 burner. A 22" Kettle with vortex SnS and OnlyFire pizza oven. A Smokey Joe and the most recent addition a Pit Barrel Jr with bird hanger, 4 hooks and cover. ThermoWorks Smoke 2 probe, DOT, ThermoPop and a Thermapen Mk4. Recently added 2 TempSpike wireless meat thermometers.
I do not believe I would get rid of any. I admit, some do not get used regularly but when I use them it's because I feel it's the best way to complete a task.
Frequently used;
Kuerig Single brewer as I do one cup a day and my wife does 2 or maybe 3.
Toaster Oven
Ninja Foodi Grill, Air Fryer, Roaster, Baking and Dehydrator
Stand Mixer Mainly for baking but grinding too
Food Processor
Anova Precision Cooker
Presto Electric Griddle
EDIT - Just saw the kitchen scale. Essential in baking.
Not so much;
Deep Fryer
Coffee Grinder used to grind peppercorn
Slow Cooker mainly my wife use for roast
Blender
Nutra-Bullet for smoothies
Pizza Slicer
Rotisserie for Weber Gasser
I use a mechanical can operner, bottle opener (beer) and rubber jar opener. When you have arthritis sometimes you need a little help

Reason: forgot one
This is most interesting as I do a personal assessment of my cooking activities & intentions. It seems that I am moving into the dark ages as far as gadgetry goes. I have leaned in that direction & now moving even further away. I know I have joked in the past of the sous vide fad, what with the baggie cookin ribs (pun intended), but the crux of the matter is no desire for another "lectric" tool. My desire has been for cookin the "old fashioned" way or as close to it as I can get. I even hesitated laboriously on obtaining my Napolean gasser, caving for the "quickness" of operation so I could cook for my wife. I am now in the process of ridding myself of most of the appliances I don’t use & that wonderful Napolean might be in the mix. Blender, don’t use & only used a couple of time to make a shake for my wife. Food processor, another in the never use category. E can opener, always used a hand device until recently when m’lady couldn’t work our opener any more, so, gone. Kitchen Aid stand mixer, going. Crock pots, I have two, will get rid of one & maybe both. Microwave, keeper. Toaster, I have two, one two slicer & a toaster oven. I’ve been meanin to sell the T-oven, now may keep it & get rid of the 2-slicer.
Now for coffee! The only powered gadget I have is a grinder which I think is pretty cool, but I do have a hand grinder for my Turkish grind. My coffee "makers" are a perc pot with no perc stuff to make cowboy coffee. I also have a French press & 3 different sized Ibriks (Turkish coffee pots).
I must say this may have been therapeutic for me on what I need to get rid of to de clutter my life. I do not see myself getting an embroidery machine in the near future. So, if we’re taking a poll it’s:
Microwave
toaster or T-oven
1 crock pot maybe
1 coffee grinder
How’s that for simplicity. Everything else is by hand as the saying goes.
I think!
If more people would just give an embroidery machine a try, I think they would really take off here. I just made a very nice design on a new shirt I bought. I put my initials PJ on the back of the shirt, right above a really pretty rose.

If ya decide to haul the gasser to the dump, I have a truck, and would be happy to pick it up and haul it away. You won't even have to kick in gas money, or help unload it.
Stand alone meat grinder (not the attachment to a stand mixer), I will never be without one again. I may not use it weekly, but when I do, it is amazing! I process my own game meat and it makes a world of difference! It is also amazing at turning chuckies/brisket/any other "on sale" meats into ground meat for sausage or burgers or whatever! That said, I also bought a proper Weston sausage stuffer as I found the electric grinder inadequate for stuffing sausages with a fine grind, like bratwurst. I have a super cheap, sub $10 grocery store special, blade style coffee grinder that I use for spices.(Primarily for making rubs) Toaster, must have. Air fryer, I’m a believer. Wouldn’t be without it.
I was eyeing hand-crank meat grinders for a while, not willing to spend much in case I didn't like it. But then the electric grinder was given to me. The first chuck roast I processed was done in 5-10 min. I was amazed. Cleaning took longer than grinding!
I am happy with a KA stand mixer, have a meat grinder attachment but could do without that for how often I use it.
For coffee, I have gone with the Aeropress, I have a French Press that I think makes better coffee but is not as easy to clean or use. Need my grinder for either of them.
Toaster, need an easy way to make toast.
Meat slicer, I need that for meats and bacon. Those slices have to be uniform!
I went with a diamond knife sharpener, not an electric, does a great job.
I could toss my pasta maker and bread machine. I can make better bread without it, and I don't eat that much pasta.
In everyday living, I have an echo dot that is hooked up to a stereo system that I have on all day.
Microwave, use it everyday multiple times.

Let’s see
Waffle iron - worth keeping just for stuffing waffles but gets much more use than thah
Instant Pot - a chili hero, plus easy rice (don’t have a rice cooker) and stock
Food Processor - primarily to make pizza dough but used a decent amount
stand Mixer - mostly used for the pasta roller attachment but bake periodically for kids
Toaster oven - workhorse of the kitchen and is used much more frequently than the wall ovens
sous vide - not used all that much but still indispensable
Burr grinder and electric kettle - new Covid related purchase as I never drank coffee at home but now that I’m always home, need my fix and I’m the only coffee drinker in my house
Now the slow cooker - that is just a waste of space. Never used it to actually cook anything and used it maybe 4 times in 15 years just to keep already cooked things warm. Could go away tomorrow and probably wouldn’t notice for 5 years
This was fun to think about. I have a lot of under cabinet space and a love for kitchen tech:
Used a lot-or invaluable and def replace:
Instant pot- -took the place of a stovetop unit which I would not replace
Behmor Coffee roaster-
Burr coffee grinder-
Toaster-
Breville Tea Maker- would replace with electric kettle but wife prob wouldn't allow
Have 2 microwaves- def need one but not two
Bread machine-
Sous Vide Supreme- prob replace with one of the stick units, though
Used Occasionally but would replace
Kitchenaid Stand- have pasta/grinder attachments
Food Processer-
Vitamix-
Air Fryer- was a gift and am just starting to use it -prob would replace
Toaster oven- if I replaced would be with upgrade to Cuisinart or Breveille
Spice Grinder-
Vac sealer
Rarely used- might replace
Stick blender- stored under counter
Espresso Machine- have been enjoying the Aeropress so much that not making much espresso
Slow cooker- mainly used for serving soup at pot lucks- prob replace
Drip coffee maker- convenient for company
Good chance I won't replace
Delonghi ice cream maker- has been a ton of fun, though
Meat slicer- used it lately for like the 2nd time in 20 years and it was pretty great for roast beef sand
Rice cooker- its nice but Instant pot has it covered.
Did you put these in the basement?
Juice extracter- forgot where it is
Electric fondue pot- never used- who bought this?
George Foreman Grill- should find a new home if I can find it.
Hot plates-
Addendum:day after posting
Coffee roaster ironically died today new one on order.

But for "load shedding" disruptions in electricity supply then my hand mixer, coffee grinder meat slicer and sandwich toaster get the most usage. The fridges and deep freezer are a must have.
Because of load shedding I would not survive without my knives, whisk and wooden spoons.
It’s easy to forget how lucky we have it here sometimes. I’m as good at anyone about griping about my problems a lot of the world wishes they could have. Hope something is in the works to stabilize or add capacity to the power there for you.
My friends in Belize have much the same situation -- frequent power outages and "brown outs." The brown outs are in some ways worse than outages, because they shorten the life of electric motors. You're trying to run a business, so I imagine outages are super frustrating for you!
IowaGirl Everything in my wagon runs off gas. Just on the lookout for a gas nuke machine if you happen to come across one please let me know.
Fortunately we do get warnings before the load shedding is
implemented.

Don't have a toaster or electric can opener. My Instant Pot replaced my rice cooker and Crock-Pot. Love my KitchenAid stand mixer (I have the grinder attachment). Love my mini chopper and stick blender combo. Really like my cuisinart food processor for some things but don't use it all that often. Same for my Ninja blender (I have the food processor attachment for the Ninja but have never used it.)
Couldn't live without my coffee maker and coffee grinder. I use my spice grinder often. I use my Anova immersion circulator regularly, but could probably live without it, though I'd miss it.
I know you told me before, and I thought I had copied/pasted to Paprika but can't find it now. Search function here turned up bupkis. Can you tell me again how you cook your rice in the Instant Pot? I've done it twice and it comes out gluey. So I'm still using my old reliable saucepan method.
fzxdoc - for basmati, 1 part rice to 1.25 parts water. High pressure for 11 minutes followed by full natural release. Remove the cover and fluff. Convert the lot with a kitchen towel and loosely replace the cover. Let stand for 10 lb minutes then serve. I do the same for jasmine, but it's a little too sticky for me so I am going to work on reducing the amount of water.
