It’s that time again folks! Even though there were many people who wanted to hold the next MeatUp in Greenland, we decided on Texas…….the hottest BBQ spots in Greenland were just too far apart for our convenience. 😳 We’ll be returning to San Marcos this spring, it’s proven to be a great location for us! Situated between Austin and San Antonio, and not far from Lockhart, there’s a ton of stellar BBQ joints to choose from. Even though we’ve been there twice, there’s enough places still left for us to explore, or to revisit old favorites, and we haven’t even touched San Antonio yet! In the next few weeks we’ll be throwing out suggestions for places to dine at, including some killer Tex-Mex spots to try.
The last time we were in San Marcos we stayed at a great hotel which met all our criteria, The Residence Inn by Marriott, we’ll be staying there again. Anywho, anyone who wants to meet us down here in Texas for some killer BBQ and meet some of your fellow Pit Masters, come on down….and as usual, spouses and friends are always welcome too!

I was able to snag us the same great rate they gave us a year and a half ago, $139. per night! plus tax. The rate is the same for either a King Single or a Queen double room.
