You'd think I was tired of BBQ after this Meat-Up but I'm not. Tuesday one of our equipment companies came to install a new analyzer and they brought Dickie's for the staff. Their chicken is actually pretty good.

Yesterday I was running errands in Beaumont and swung by 1701 BBQ for a pulled pork sandwich - excellent but messy



Today I have to swing by Redbird BBQ to give the owner something. I doubt I'll have time to stand in line but if there is no line I'll get something.

Leftover BBQ made for some nice lunches a couple days after getting home, but dessert was even better.

You might have seen these in the display case from the Tejas pictures above, but here is a close up of their specialty, truffles........dark chocolate of course. Just the thing for a chocoholic.

I made the mistake of letting Lisa pick the truffles. Of the 8 she got, only one was chocolate. The snickerdoodle was actually pretty good.

We just finished our box of 4. They were so rich we were cutting them into quarters! Delicious, though!
